About ISO14001 (Environment Management System Certification)

ISO14001 is an international environment standard that regulates an organization’s structure, sense of responsibility, practices, and procedures with regard to the handling of raw materials from manufacture, distribution, and sale to disposal, in line with the growing importance of enterprises’ responsibility for environmental management, to devise environmental policies with a view to minimizing the impacts (e.g., consumption of resources, air and water pollution, chemical materials/toxicants, noise, vibration, waste creation) of the organization’s products and services on the environment, and to define and achieve the corresponding objectives and detailed goals.
